Let's discuss the subject.

♢♢♢

«My Koan Horoscope»

(available in Taoísmo en Español)

1. A travel of a thousand leagues starts from beneath the feet. (Ch.64 / Emptiness)

2. Tao never has any desire, so we can name it Small. (Ch.34 / Tao)

3. When a low man hears about Tao, he laughs out loud. (Ch.40 / Bad luck)

«From Yama Uba»

Let’s wait a bit till the moon rises.
And I will show you what I really am.

«Interpretation»

Emptiness - Tao - Bad luck.

Are you ready to face a new way of thinking? While modern materialists think that we see things thanks to the light, in Shintoism we think that due to the light we cannot see the reality. At night, we see Tao's reality. Tao doesn't have desire, so it it useless to interpret life as moral indications. «A travel of a thousand leagues starts from beneath the feet.» is not encouraging you to make the first step. On the contrary, Lao Tzu is asking you to treat a (potentially problematic) thing before it has appeared. You don't want to see the reality under the moonlight, do you?

Please try Koan Horoscope (although it is in Spanish).
