«My Koan Horoscope»

(available in Taoísmo en Español)

1. Tao is to the world under the sky as streams and valleys are to big rivers and the sea.
(Ch.32 / Good luck)

2. Many people are having fun as if they were invited to a feast or as if they went up to a terrace in spring. (Ch.20 / Good luck)

3. Taste no taste. (Ch.63 / Good luck)

«From Yama Uba»

Oh, it doesn’t matter if she is a witch or a human.
But if she is an old woman living in the mountains, precisely it is about me.

«Interpretation»

Good luck - Good luck - Good luck.

Are you jealous of people having fun? Do you feel insulted if you are not invited to a feast at your friend's house? Do you wonder once in a while why your family treats you as a black sheep? Do you feel they avoid you at a dinner party as if you were a witch or an old woman living in the mountains? Are you once in a while incapable of tasting food because of isolation and solitude at dinner? "Taste no taste," says Lao Tzu. But what does he mean by this sad imperative? Yama Uba has the answer to the questions. It doesn't matter if your life is Tao or a hologram (Your life is a series of holograms, which are the manifestation of Tao/Love/Buddha). Tao is the source of your holographic life as streams and valleys are the source of big rivers and the sea (and vice versa). Now, we have to know the real meaning of «Taste no taste.» It means: "Taste the taste of Tao through every moment of your life and cherish it."
