«My Koan Horoscope»

(available in Taoísmo en Español)

1. The life of everything; grasses or trees, is soft and fragile. / La vida de todo, las hierbas o los árboles, es suave y frágil. (Ch.76 / Middle luck)
2. There is something sure inside it. / Hay algo seguro en su interior. (Ch.21 / Bad luck)

3. Learn it in the country, and its attainment is rich. / Apréndalo en el país, y su logro es rico.
(Ch.54 / Good luck)

«Interpretation»

Middle luck - Bad luck - Good luck. Do you wonder why you have to be strong? Do you feel sick and tired of being told to be strong? Do you wonder what is wrong with being weak? We all know that the life of anything is soft and fragile. But remember that there is something sure inside it. What is it? Of course it is Tao. Let's look at the life of everything as teachings and prayers. The prayers are not only written with letters but also with anything, including the nature, the man-made objects, the society, and people. If you understand this, you can avoid your spiritual trap. You don't need any institution to belong to. Zen Master Dogen put it this way: "Sometimes it uses the letters of one hundred grasses; sometimes it uses the letters of ten thousand trees." You can even learn it from your country. Then, your attainment is rich. One of the richest attainment is accepting Strong = Weak. It can be your key (Kanreisu) to accept other teachings more easily.
