«My Koan Horoscope»

(available in Taoísmo en Español)

1. Can you love people or govern a state without acting? (Ch.10 / Middle luck)

2. I think someone faithful is faithful. (Ch.49 / Bad luck)

3. That's why the sage puts his body last, but it comes first. (Ch.7 / Bad luck)

«Interpretation»

Do you wonder why you live in such a miserable country? Do you want to criticize the politicians and the media demagogues? Although you try hard, you cannot pronounce: "I love my country," (thinking: "Look at the state of my country! How can you love it!"). Lao Tzu's answer is that you can govern your country without acting, or rather that you cannot govern it because you act on it. It is difficult to accept his answer if you have spent too much time under the "Do something!" civilization. Then, why don't we follow the wisdom of a 13th-century Japanese Buddhist, Shinran 親鸞 and use the concept Tariki/Other-power. All you have to do is ask Amida Buddha and accept the world as Buddha's manifestation. Faith can be a powerful tool to suppress your modern ego. Last is first. First is last. You are your country no matter how it looks miserable. Don't be fooled by the outside world, particularly the media.

Please try Koan Horoscope (although it is in Spanish).
