Tao Te Ching Chapter 55-8 Su Dongpo / No husky voice

Today's Tao

He cries out all day long, but his voice doesn't get husky. (Ch.55)

A baby can "cry out all day long" because his energy won't be exhausted.

His hologram can keep crying because Tao is inexhaustible.

Eleventh-century Chinese poet So Toba / Su Dongpo 蘇東坡 expressed this beautifully:

無一物中無尽蔵

花あり月あり楼台あり

[Mu ichi motsu chu mu jin zo

hana ari tsuki ari rodai ari]

Nothingness has an unlimited storage.

Flowers exist. The moon exists. A tower exists.

The first line has become one of the favorite expressions among Zen Buddhists.

Please read Tao by Matsumoto 39-12 Inexhaustible valley.

The entry explains this in detail in terms of the signification of each Kanji / Chinese character.

Tao answers your question!

☞Osamu Dazai and Yukio Mishima hated each other. Dazai was born in a wealthy family in the countryside. Mishima in a non-millionaire family in Tokyo. The former grew up in the countryside, dreaming of urbane sophistication. The latter in Tokyo, surrounded by the sons of zaibatsu, financially powerful families. As for patriotism, both did not serve for their country. As for the ends of their lives, both acted dramatically.
