This paper craft is used to protect the baby in a Shintoist ritual.
Is it difficult to find a lost trace of Hinduism there?
Please check the photo in Like a baby / Tao Te Ching Chapter 10-4. A baby has a red seal stamped on the front.
I don't know how this school of Shintoism adopted a Hinduism custom. Personally, I had never seen this kind of seal on a baby in Japan up until recently.
